A fantastic day was had by all on Saturday at the BOQ Alleygators Home ground for the BIS Cosgrove home game where we took on the Surfers Paradise Dolphins. In what was a day of mixed results (I'm sure Gilbert will cover off on the games!)  we took time out to retire the number 4 in honor of Nick Tooth from the Quirindi lions as did the lads form Surfers. After the game we had a fantastic BBQ and social evening with the Toothless Gators and the Fossils from Caboolture joining us after their hit out.

It was great to see so many of the playing group stick around after the game and socialize with the 5 debutant players that started out with the Alleygators on Saturday and to also se the young blokes mixing with the Golden Oldies and sharing some war stories!! All in all a great day and night. A big thank you to the Management Committee for supporting and providing the food for the BBQ and the Toothless Gators for playing after first grade and joining in there should be more of those nights!!!

Look forward to the next home game which is the Ladies day game against Helnsvale on the 13th June and will be a cracker with the charity of choice in 2015 being White Ribbon, that will be the ABC Bricks home game so we look forward to seeing Millsy down there supporting the lads as he is known to do!
Thanks to all the helpers on Saturday and particularly to Juliette and Bec Williams who were both deft hands on the BBQ and set up of the meal
