CLUB NEWS

It’s not long until the Commonwealth Games are upon us. Events like these create great communities, celebrate sports excellence and create new connections with people. This is what Alleygators look to do within our local community.

We are a family friendly club and look forward to welcoming you in 2018. Come on in this Sunday from 2pm to 5pm and enjoy Dan Hannaford play live.

A reminder that Senior men’s pre-season training is on Tuesday & Thursday at 6.30pm. 

In 2018 the club also had new trading hours and is open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm. Social members benefit from discounts on food and drink.

RUGBY CORNER

GET INVOLVED!

Reminder: A meeting for rugby volunteers for the 2018 season will be held in the Murray Felstead Room from 6pm tomorrow Thursday January 11th.

Come and be part of the turnaround season for the Alleygators. This is open to volunteers for both our men’s and ladies teams.

If you are unable to attend but would like to assist during the season please contact Mark Doherty on 0499 985 855.

WHAT’S ON AT THE CLUB

This Sunday, January 14th Dan Hannaford will play live at the club. Dan is on stage from 2pm to 5pm.

It’s a FREE family friendly event for all to enjoy. and you are welcome to bring the kids! The Club bistro will be open for food.

Dan is a Byron Bay based artist and has opened Australian tour shows for the likes of Charlie Musselwhite, Donavon Frankenreiter, Charlie Parr and Australia’s own Tex Perkins, Ash Grunwald, Mental as Anything and The Black Sorrows. He’s been busy performing all around Australia and recently touring between Europe, the UK and North America.

Hannaford has graced hundreds of stages including performances at Falls Festival in Byron Bay, Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn, National Folk Festival in Canberra, Gympie Music Muster and Tamworth Country Music Festival. He also showcased his talent at the iconic Byron Bay Blues Festival being named on the bill alongside John Fogerty, Cold Chisel and Crosby Stills & Nash with his single ‘Deeper Water’ included on the Bluesfest 2012 compilation album.
